C urrent Needs

The following is a sampling of the immediate need of Ukrainian orphans for which we are trying to make a difference...........

............"Guardieskaya," a boarding school of 138 children, 6 - 16 yr. olds, without enough dinnerware for all of the children to eat at once...the government funding they receive doesn't cover even their food.... they weren't previously adoptable because there was no money to take the pictures required to register them for adoption....until recent intervention, they were taken elsewhere in order to shower every two weeks.............( as pictured on left )

............"Yoluchka," a government run orphanage of 0-3 year olds where children are undernourished, parasites are rampant and simple medical conditions remain untreated...

..............."Marina Baby Infectious Hospital," where abandoned AIDS babies don't receive adequate care, as they aren't considered worth bothering with...........

............... "Maternity Hospital #3," a maternity hospital with abandoned babies who, refused by the local orphanage, have no where else to go ................Hospital workers are trying to feed them out of their own meager salaries........
